Dipak Jana, M.D., F.A.C.C. specializes in cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Jana has been recognized as one of America’s top physicians by the Consumer Research Award Council. He also received a Hands and Hearts Award from the VA Medical Center in New York.
Prior to joining Phoenix Heart, he managed the Jana Heart Center in Glendale, Arizona. He has also held positions with Cigna Healthcare, and Thunderbird Heart Center in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Before relocating to the Phoenix area, he was a staff physician at the VA Medical Center in Batavia, New York.
Dr. Jana completed his cardiology fellowship at the VA Medical Center and Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He was senior resident and chief resident of internal medicine at Framingham Union Hospital, affiliated to Boston University, where he also was a junior resident and completed his internship. D. Jana also completed a residency and internship at Victoria General Hospital, Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was a family medicine intern at Saint John General Hospital in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. He received his Doctor of Medicine at Calcutta National Medical College, Calcutta, India.
Dr. Jana is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine where he is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine.
